British Slang Dictionary - This site is not only useful, it's utterly hysterical, bet you didn't know there were 2000 words for getting drunk or screwed, leave it to the Brits to educate you.

History Buff - This is a truly awesome collection of news paper clippings from the 16th-20th century. Mainly American documents, but does include some notable European news events.

Reconstructing History - A fabulous clothing resource. History, reenactment galleries, divided into country and time period. Go here before you put William in some garishly out of style outfit. Please.

Archiving Early America - An interactive site of early resources, includes videos, newspaper clippings, etc.

Dagguerrotype Portraits and Views - Canon has shown us that Darla was fond of these portraits, see more of the same style.

Fifties Web - An entertaining look at music, television, and pop culture in the 1950s.

The Gilded Page - A site housing documents, images, and links to Gilded Age (1890-WWI) events.

Godey's Ladies Book Online - An online text of an interesting 19th century journal. Includes fun fashion sketchings from the 1850's.

Photographs from the Great Depression - Site has more than 1,000 images of Depression era America, look for Montana to get Angel's view of the Depression.

Study of Colonial Currency - Site has useful primary and secondary sources dealing with money in the colonies, after all Darla was a woman of some property.
